Nostalgia is something that is generational. There may always be that certain movie that you identified with during your earlier years. Maybe it was “Rebel Without a Cause” with the iconic James Dean who said, “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.”

To the south of the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy in France lies the appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise. This is the much-unknown and overlooked part of Burgundy. Vines are the principal crop of the region; most of the vines are planted with pinot noir and chardonnay, but also some gamay and Aligoté.

My favorite thing about winter is snuggling up by the fireplace with a glass of wine in one hand and a good book in the other. Fortunately, this winter I had the chance to read so many great books!
