Throughout the year, The Wetlands Institute is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding. Many of you know us well. Others have driven by for years but really don’t know who we are or what we do.

Summer is the absolute best, especially when you are lucky enough to live at or visit the shore. There is so much to see and do, and everything takes place outside! From beach days and zoo visits to boat rides and nights on the boardwalk, we hope your summer is full of wonderful memories.

Atlantic City Electric recently presented the Avalon Lions Club with a $1,000 donation for its charity golf tournament. Senior Public Affairs Manager Ronnie Town presented Avalon Lions members Chuck Covington and Fred Fynan with the donation at the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children.

Some nights you just don’t feel like getting all dressed up. Fortunately, when you are at the beach you don’t have to! It would be nice to just hang out in PJs all the time but in case you want to make an ice cream run, or friends stop over to visit, you want to at least look like you put some effort into it

With Memorial Day at hand, it seems fitting that we look back and remember the sacrifice that one particular Seven Mile Beach family made for our freedom.

The countdown to Memorial Day weekend is finally over, which means it’s time for the sun, the sand and the chance to return to your favorite shops and restaurants. While you’ve been eagerly counting down the days until summer, a number of shops and restaurants have been getting settled into their new digs in town.

Summer is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited! It’s time to enjoy the sun, the beach, the ocean and everything nature has to offer.

Every day at the Anti-Aging & Longevity Center of Philadelphia, we address the question, “What is functional medicine?” This term is certainly on the uptrend, and has became mainstream in many parts of the country.

I am often asked who my favorite author is. Honestly, that question stumps me every time. How can I possibly pick just one? When you are an avid reader, you turn to different authors for different reasons. If I’m in the mood for a “who did it and how do we catch them,” I pick up something by James Patterson.

We found so many fun things for the guys to wear this season, it was hard to narrow it down to one outfit. We chose this one because it will be your go-to for a stylish and comfortable night out.
