OLIVIA GORECKE
DREXEL UNIVERSITY
Olivia Gorecke, daughter of Eric and Julia Gorecke of Avalon, received her master’s degree in library and information science from Drexel University. She completed the program in December, nine months early, with a 3.99 grade-point average. While obtaining her master’s degree, she also worked at her full-time job as a children’s librarian for the Cape May County Library. She holds her bachelor’s degree in literature from Stockton University and is a graduate of Holy Spirit High School. In addition to her library job, Olivia also will return to her summer job at Gingy’s Boutique.
JOSEPH HAND
UNC WILMINGTON
Joseph Hand, of Stone Harbor, graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in May. The son of Tom and Terri Hand, he received a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and business management and achieved the dean’s list throughout his college career. This summer, Joey will travel abroad before pursuing a career in real estate development.
STEPHEN HOY
CLEMSON UNIVERSITY
Stephen Hoy, of Stone Harbor, graduated from Clemson University in May with a degree in microbiology and a biomedicine concentration and music minor. The son of David and Jane Hoy, Stephen attended Middle Township High School. He plans to spend a month in Europe and enjoy some downtime before he heads to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine to pursue an M.D. degree.
ROBERT DiPESO III
UNC WILMINGTON
Robert DiPeso III, son of Robert and Gina DiPeso of Cape May Court House, graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in business marketing. A Middle Township High School graduate, Bobby is an avid surfer who was a member of his high school surf team and selected a college close to the beach. This summer, Bobby plans to work at his family’s restaurant in Avalon, Bobby Dee’s Rock ’n Chair, and pursue a job in the business industry.

ELIZABETH HAND
MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Elizabeth Hand will graduate from Middle Township High School in June. The daughter of Tom and Terri Hand, of Stone Harbor, Elizabeth will be attending West Chester University in the fall and plans to major in communications. Throughout her four years at MTHS, Elizabeth was an honor roll student who also served as a member of the student council, the Go Green Club and Key Club. She also played lacrosse and tennis. This summer, she will work at her family’s restaurant, Fred’s Tavern, before heading off to school.
PAIGE CONTE
NAPLES HIGH SCHOOL
Paige Conte, daughter of Perry and Diane Conte, of Stone Harbor, graduated from Naples (Fla.) High School in May. She is a graduate of Avalon Stone Harbor Schools. Paige will attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she will study animation. During her four years at Naples High School, Paige exhibited her art in four galleries and was involved with the school’s Envirothon program as well as volunteering with Collier County Domestic Animal Services.
