Dear Readers,
Welcome to the summer of 2022! Wow, it feels great to say that. If the month of June is any indication, we should all be looking forward to awesome weather, great beach days, and fun-filled evenings cooled by those soothing ocean breezes. And just like the Fourth of July, this issue of the Times is exploding with lots of great reading.

Fourth of July Events
Get ready to celebrate with Avalon for the Fourth of July with great events happening throughout the weekend. Kick off the week early with the first Thursdays at Surfside on June 30. Surfside Park will be jamming to the tunes of Jimmy and the Parrots from 7-9pm, and there will be a beer and wine garden hosted by the Avalon Chamber of Commerce.

Stone Harbor’s Ocean Galleries will feature “Jane Seymour: Up Close and Personal: The Exhibition” from July 1-10, and the award-winning actress and artist will be on hand to meet visitors on July 1, 2 and 3.
