At our longevity practice, we’re often asked what strategies we employ to slow the aging process. It’s a great question. You may not realize this, but there is a massive amount of research being done on the science of longevity that is making it clear that aging is indeed a treatable condition.

Maggie Arden Davenport, the daughter of Patrick and Jennifer Davenport of Wildwood Crest, graduated from Crest Memorial School. Maggie was the president of student council and made honors every marking period of elementary school.

Another July is upon us and that means plenty of beach days and ice cream-filled nights. Beach weather means packing up your beach bag. Along with water and sunscreen, make room for a novel or two.

This has been a pretty crazy year so far. In May, I went to a four-day financial conference in Boston hosted by Commonwealth Financial Network. There were industry experts from several financial companies offering their insights and wisdom on the economy and markets.

July Calendar

Like many other shortages in the market today, you can expect some wine regions to not have as much wine as normal. Whether it be from low yields, frost, freeze or fire, many wine-growing regions are currently low on grapes.

Kids Activities

Stone Harbor lost one of its earliest settlers and lifelong residents when Marian Herbert Hornsby died on Feb. 22. Mrs. Hornsby was 95. Her passing was due in part to COVID-19.

Bob also broadcasted from the Fishing Pier, The Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children, and The Wetlands Institute.

After Avalon Police Department Capt. John Roscoe’s recent retirement, Sean McNair was sworn in as the new captain, and Matthew Ardelean as the new sergeant to take his place. Mayor Martin Pagliughi administered the oaths of office during a recent Borough Council meeting.
