With lifeguard season having come to an end, we look back on this 1993 photo of Avalon Beach Patrol’s Craig Whitehead pushing off in a singles race off if the 32nd Street beach. Again and Again and Again…
Last summer I was sitting on the beach eating an ice cream sandwich and watching a man in his early 30s hurtling his young daughter up and down in the surf. This was clearly entertaining her immensely, and every time Dad caught her, she would scream, “Again!”
Kids Picks
It’s hard to believe that summer is over. Every year it seems to go by faster and faster! Now it’s time to go back to school, back to sports and just back to the craziness that the fall months bring.
