It’s Quizzo Time
What a bizarre summer. It’s like we are living in a “Twilight Zone” bubble. There’s nothing for us to do but to do what we’re told and hope for the best. And so far? Based on the countless phone conversations I’ve had with friends and business acquaintances, I feel like we are doing our part and not losing our minds.
I remember when this all started to go down, I found myself making silly statements like “Well, they’re going to straighten all this out by Memorial Day weekend, aren’t they?” Like a virus would give a damn about your prom or your graduation party or your annual July 4th barbecue bash.
But that’s all just being human. We dream about summer all winter long, so it hasn’t been easy. So, I am here to help. That’s just me. A great humanitarian. (Insert tongue in cheek here.)
Although you could say I am primarily known as a standup comic and talk-show host, I also host Quizzo nights. In my time at this great Seven Mile Beach I’ve hosted such nights at at several popular establishments in town.
So, let’s pretend you’re at the beautiful Windrift Hotel. You’re gazing out at the moon on the ocean, you’re with a group of friends, let’s play a round of Quizzo!
OK, gang, this is pretty simple. Send your replies to bigdaddy295@aol.com. (All right, don’t laugh. I know, I’m still using AOL.) Whoever gets the most right will win a WIP T-shirt. Have fun. It’s summertime!
