Avalon Flooring reopened a showroom in Avalon at 2209 Dune Drive this summer. The space, formerly occupied by Creative Window Design, is very special for the Avalon Flooring team as it is where the company’s first showroom was located back in 1958. Since its humble beginnings in Avalon, the company has grown to add 14 other locations across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
“For our homecoming to Avalon, we’ve decided to change up our retail showroom approach and create a new boutique experience that features a collection of curated materials in classic and trending styles for the Avalon customer,” says President/CEO Maryanne Adams. “With 15 showrooms across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, our company has remained dedicated to serving as an active member of our local communities and staying connected to the people who make these places so very special. Our teams enjoy knowing their neighbors, growing these relationships, and being invited into homes and businesses through the various projects they undertake together.”
The business, founded by the late John Millar, became partially employee-owned in 2003 and then transitioned to become 100 percent employee-owned in 2018 so that Millar’s legacy could live on by giving back to the team while also strengthening the ties of Avalon Flooring within its growing showroom communities.

For residential installations, customers receive a 12-year warranty and for commercial projects there is a 2-year warranty.
