Days Gone By

Here’s a pleasant memory from our not-so-distant past: Villa Maria by the Sea in June 2019. Opened in June 1937 on 111th Street in Stone Harbor, this old friend fell in May to make room for a winterized, smaller and more manageable retreat house that will enable the Pennsylvania-based Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to utilize it 12 months a year. So keep this old friend in your thoughts and look forward to the memories that the new house will add. And please remember to support the sisters.
