Seven Mile Beach isn’t just home to the best beaches on the East Coast — it’s also a hotspot for nightlife! When the sun sets, the island comes alive with a vibrant scene that rivals its daytime beauty. From an array of exquisite restaurants and chic stores to an electrifying nightlife, there’s no shortage of excitement. Whether you’re looking to dance the night away, enjoy a cozy evening at a beach bar, or explore late-night shopping, our barrier island has it all!

The Lazy Bass Bayside Bar & Grill, 5 Old N. Wildwood Blvd., North Wildwood, has quickly become a popular spot to watch the sunset over the water, grab something to eat and listen to the latest tunes from a variety of local musicians. There is live music on weeknights from 5-9pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, the music begins at 1pm. Here you will find many popular local musicians playing several times throughout the summer. Nolan Quinn comes over straight from the main stage of the Barefoot Country Music Festival and will play July 20, Aug. 17, and Aug. 21. Longtime local favorite Sean Loosh is in the house on July 22. Mr. Green Genes frontman Bryen O’Boyle plays on July 25 and Aug. 8. Straight from Key West, Tony Baltimore will play on July 28 from 5-9pm and again on Aug. 3 from 1-4:30pm. Heading into Stone Harbor, make sure you stop at Fred’s Tavern & Liquor Store, 314 96th St., a local hotspot. Fred’s has been around for decades and has remained the go-to spot for the best atmosphere, entertainment, and burgers. Its 2024 summer lineup is tough to beat. On the next block over is the ICONA Avalon. Here you will find one of the only “beach” bars on the island, The Sandbar Village, 125 79th St. Located right by the beach, the venue’s outdoor area provides the opportunity to sit back and relax with your feet in the sand while listening to some great music. There will be live music every day of the week from 4-8pm, as well as Reggae Sundays from 3-8pm. Sean Loosh is on stage every Saturday night of the summer including July 13, when he will play with The Seabillys. Reggae Sundays include performances by the Raggamuffins every Sunday of July except for July 21, when when Ear Me Now will play. Friday night music includes Aloha My Broha on July 19 and Sons of Thunder on Aug. 16. The Zone will play on July 12 and Aug. 9, and Dean Dunlevy plays most Tuesday nights, alternating with Lost Sailors. It’s the hottest no-shower happy hour on the island!

Heading further into Avalon is Bobby Dee’s Rock ’n Chair, 2409 Dune Drive. Bobby Dee’s has an outstanding restaurant with a menu offering something for everyone. Once you have enjoyed your dinner, you can listen to live music every Friday and Saturday night throughout the summer. Nick Horn is on stage July 7 and 19, and Aug. 2.
