KAITLIN BAILEY

WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY

Kaitlin Elizabeth Bailey, daughter of Jim and Jennifer Bailey of Avalon, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College of West Virginia University. She completed a degree in criminology with minors in Spanish and forensic and investigative science. Kaitlin studied abroad in Madrid for one semester. She also started a work group dedicated to the research of misdemeanor justice in the Mountain State. She developed her research for the duration of her upperclassman years and plans to have it published. Kaitlin is currently seeking employment in Philadelphia but plans to spend one last summer in Avalon.

PRESLEY BRAUN

UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA

Presley Braun graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in finance. A member of the Delta Chi fraternity, Presley is the son of Tom and Lisa Braun of Avalon. He is a graduate of Avalon Elementary School and Middle Township High School. This summer, he will once again return to work at his family’s business, USA Pools, surf, play golf with his junior membership at Stone Harbor Golf Club, and pursue a career in finance.

SAMANTHA BRAUN

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL

Samantha Braun graduated from Middle Township High School with honors. She will attend the University of Tennessee, where she plans to major in chemistry. Her career goal is to become a dermatologist. The daughter of Tom and Lisa Braun of Avalon, Samantha was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and Red Cross Club, and served as secretary for the student council at MTHS. She was a member of the tennis team and the swimming team that broke the school’s record for the 400 relay. This summer, she will work at her family’s business, USA Pools, and enjoy time with her friends before heading off to school.

SARAH SCHALL

CAPE MAY COUNTY TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

Sarah Schall, the daughter of Steve and Robin Schall of Avalon, graduated from Cape May County Technical High School. She served as captain of the varsity soccer team, and also was a member of the National Honor Society, the Academic Competition Team, and Student Government. She will attend Messiah University to study biomedical engineering this fall. This summer, she is returning to her job serving ice cream at Avalon Freeze.
