Beach Reads
Once July finally comes along, summer seems to start setting in. By now you are in a routine of beach days, bay swims, ice cream nights and everything in between. It’s a fun time to be on the island when the days are usually filled with sunny skies and the water starts to warm up for the season.
Sounds of the Shore
One night last summer, obviously before COVID-19 hit, I was walking down 96th Street when I bumped into a piano-playing, singing buddy of mine by the name of Roy McCutchen. Way back in the day, I used to run these insane cabaret nights at a still-open-for-business bar called the Khyber Pass on Second Street in Philadelphia.
Summer Reading Tips
Moms and dads, I know that these last few months have been incredibly challenging. In just a blink, life as we knew it completely changed. No more going to the gym to relieve some stress, or even taking a walk alone for that matter.
