That’s what I want to say when I unexpectedly run into old friends who happen to be enjoying some Seven Mile time when I am and they want to get together.

This is the story of three young friends, each working in some part of the wine industry, with the goal of someday owning a winery and producing not only great but also affordable California wines.

Entering his fourth season as a business owner in Stone Harbor, Executive Chef Dino Borghi of Borghi’s by the Bay continues to grow his restaurant and keep customers coming back year after year.

Much has changed here at Seven Mile Beach since brothers Fred and Steve Sylvester opened a restaurant to accompany their seafood market in 1978. Forty years later, residents and visitors continue to find good food and fun at Sylvester’s Fish Market and Restaurant.

April is a bittersweet month. The weather starts to turn warmer, but it also means a lot of work to prepare for the upcoming summer season. This year was perhaps a little less bitter than normal.
