It’s always hard to see summer come to an end. Hopefully you spent your days riding the waves and building castles in the sand. Nevertheless, September is upon us and that means it’s time for fall sports and, of course, school! I like to think of fall as a time of new beginnings – new teachers, new grade, new classrooms and hopefully lots of new friends.

I can complicate my life with the best of them. Blaming myself for things I have no control over. Waiting till the absolute last minute to complete a task I had a month to take care of (like this article). Too many passwords. Too many TV channels. Attempting to text while, well, doing everything. I have become incapable of doing one thing at a time.

Here are three highly entertaining thrillers that opened theatrically earlier this year.

The first is a fantasy for the family, the second a sequel for science-fiction fans, and the third a shark chiller for brave viewers.

You don’t want to hear about it. You don’t want to talk about it. I don’t want to write about it. But none of those things is going to stop it. The end of summer is fast approaching. I’m sorry, but it is. You had lofty expectations for a healthy summer.

The word “retirement” conjures up different thoughts and dreams for so many people. Like the title of this publication’s issue, it might be the thought of an endless summer.

Stone Harbor Borough Council passed a motion to go out to bid for an addition to the Stone Harbor police building during its Aug. 15 meeting.

As seasonal visitors retreat to Malvern and Moorestown, remaining anglers enjoy unique fishing opportunities between Labor Day and Halloween. Pelagic species move into our area in the warmest waters of the year. Local bays teem with baitfish and a variety of predators.

If your family is like ours, you spent the summer making the most of every day. Your car is filled with sand and you have worn nothing but flip-flops since May. Well, it’s time to start gearing up to get yourself and your kids ready to head back to school.

This time of year, the beach is amazing, the sun is hot and the nights are cool. Perfect time to spend all of your days and nights outside. Endless summer presents a nice opportunity to try all of the restaurants and hangouts that you stayed away from in the summer because of the crowds. Now is the perfect time to visit those outdoor places where you can watch the gorgeous sunsets of this season while enjoying a cocktail and nice dinner.

This is the time of year when I love to take sunset boat rides or sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down on another perfect endless-summer day. Thanks to Preppy Palm, I can do all of this in total comfort and, of course, style.

It’s hard to believe another summer has come and gone. I hope that you are able to relax and enjoy the Endless Summer that September usually brings us. This is my favorite time of year. The weather is perfect, the ocean is warm and the crowds are getting smaller. With the school year starting, I try to encourage my kids to try something new. So, I am going to challenge you to do the same.
