AVALON OFFICIAL WAHL EARNS MASTER’S DEGREE
Scott Wahl, the business administrator and public information officer for the Borough of Avalon, received his master’s degree in public administration from Grand Canyon University on May 3. He finished first in his class with a 4.0 GPA. In June, Wahl is beginning studies for his doctorate in organizational development with a dissertation on municipal government, also at Grand Canyon University. He is pictured here at his graduation with his wife, Barbara.

KYLE KATHLEEN BALL
Kyle Kathleen Ball was born March 10 to parents Katy and Dan Ball. Kyle arrived weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Katy is part of the Sudell Team of Ferguson Dechert Real Estate in Avalon and Dan is a project manager for Eldon Builders in Stone Harbor. The grandparents are Guy Sudell and Jayne Sudell, who both reside in Cape May Court House, and Bob and Pam Ball, of West Chester, Pa., and Stone Harbor. Kyle has an older brother, Korson who is 2 and already adores his little sister. The family is excited for her first summer in Avalon and boat rides with her cousins on Uncle Paul’s “OUTNUMBERED”!
TYING THE KNOT
Dwyer, Dechert Wed
Anne Dwyer married Eric Dechert on Oct. 8 at Meadow Creek Farm in Cape May Court House. Both the ceremony and reception were held outdoors under a romantic full moon. Anne is the daughter of Tim and Marianne Dwyer of Chestnut Hill, Pa., and works as a manager at She Be Surfin’. Eric is the son of Dutch and Karen Dechert of Avalon. Eric is a real estate agent at Ferguson Dechert. The couple’s love story began in Avalon many years ago. They have not had a honeymoon yet but are eager to plan one soon.
