Days Gone By

Hard to believe, but Donnelly’s Deli has been closed for 18 years. Do you still have your coupons for free hoagies? The building first housed Avalon Real Estate. Donnelly’s Deli was opened in the mid-1970s by the Donnelly family. Roger and Kathy Garchinsky purchased it from the Donnellys, then owned and operated it far longer than the namesake family. This photo was taken on Sept. 4, 2005, which was the evening before the Donnelly’s Deli door closed for the final time.
