What happened to the summer of 2023? Wasn’t it just Memorial Day weekend? Time goes by too quickly, doesn’t it? We were so fortunate to have great weather this summer and fall. Now, we move into the most special time here on the Seven Mile Beach – the holidays! There’s a special feeling as the decorations begin to go into place. If you haven’t already, I hope that you and your family begin your own traditions of Thanksgiving, Christmas and/or New Year’s here on Seven Mile Beach. The summer is amazing, but the holidays are nothing short of magical.

Please be sure to go through our Events at a Glance section very carefully. There’s so much going on in both Stone Harbor and Avalon throughout the holidays. We’ve tried to get all the times and dates you’ll need in one convenient place.

As 2023 comes to a close, thanks so much for continuing to make Seven Mile Times the most popular publication here on the island. We understand that you have choices and we’re very appreciative that you chose to read The Times. And a special thank you for continuing to shop local and supporting all the great retail shops and restaurants here in both Avalon and Stone Harbor.

We’ve already begun to plan our issues for 2024. Until then, please be sure to “like” our Facebook page. It’s the best way to stay up to date with all that goes on here on Seven Mile Beach.
