7. Historic Avalon Artwork
The Avalon Hotel, home of the infamous BONGO Room was the setting behind years of memories for the many people who live in or vacation in Avalon. The artist, John Sabatino purchased a parcel of land on Seventh Street in Avalon in the 80s and designed and built a home directly across from the infamous Avalon Hotel. It was from the deck of that home that he created the timeless watercolor painting of the Avalon Hotel. If you know someone who held the location near and dear, buy them a print of the hotel to hang in their favorite room, or office, so they can reminisce!
