We wait all year for summer nights and finally things are happening around town again. While no-shower happy hours are a fan favorite, it’s always nice to dress up a bit and head out to a nice dinner. The Spot has a lot of great pieces to add to your summer wardrobe. This slim-fit, everyday shirt by Faherty is a piece you could really wear all year around. Pair with shorts in the summer or some jeans on a cooler night and you’re ready to go. Since this is the August issue, we went with the shorts, also by Faherty. This is the stretch chino short in gray, but they come in a variety of colors. A simple belt is all you need and this black one from Birkenstock will work whether you are dressing up or taking a more casual stance. For your feet, we chose these black men’s foam flip-flops by Free Waters. While it would be nice to just ditch the shoes for the summer, unfortunately most places would rather you have them on. These are so comfortable, they’re the next best thing to bare feet. Finally, if you are heading out before sunset, or even to find a spot to watch it, you will need something to protect your eyes until it has gone down for the night.
